Introduction to the Epistle to the Hebrews and its Prophetic Interpretation

. . . . . .

In the Letter to the Hebrews, hidden, one finds the Antichrist

Preliminary remark:
The decisive scriptural passages are reproduced in bold type. They serve as markers that point our remarks in the right direction. If you take a close look at the numbers, you are almost astounded and you almost lose the haunt. The numbers connect the scriptural passages and confirm their correctness when they are assigned to a theme. The reflections of the numbers are also important. Here are a few examples. 1,7 or 7.1; 2,4 or 4,2. In this script they are shown, as already mentioned, in bold print. Every reader can get his own impression. Our conclusion from our discoveries can be summarized in this way: The whole Bible forms a harmonious whole, through the appearance of inner structures one recognizes that it always has a theme: Jesus and his bride.
Before we look a little at the Letter to the Hebrews, let us first look at the tabular structure of the New Testament as we have discovered it. Certainly not yet complete, but without the knowledge of the structure of the Bible, our references and explanations remain incomprehensible and the biblical teaching fragmented.

The three tours represent 3 cycles times 7 times, which is a total of 21 times. Each of the three cycles includes 7 time segments on the mailing route of Asia Minor. That would give us three rounds. The first tour starts from Ephesus and ends at Laodicea; it represents the period from Pentecost in 33 AD to the Reformation. The second cycle represents the period from the Reformation to the Rapture, as indicated in Revelation 1. See also the following presentation.

The three rounds still indicate something. Three times the visible testimony, the temple of God, is built or restored. The first time Christ became the first and living stone, the corner stone, after his resurrection. The foundation of the house was then laid with the 12 apostles, which happened at Pentecost in 33 A.D. The second time, at the time of Martin Luther, the temple of God was rebuilt on the traces of the already existing foundation, the book Ezra tells us about this. And the third time, after the Rapture, see the script Revelation (currently only in German), the damage, especially to the city wall, is repaired and the gaps are closed.

Building material is needed to build the temple. The materials are listed in Exodus 25. (see tables below). If we assign the materials to the letters of the Apostle Paul, we can see what kind of building material the letters are. In this way some unclear interpretations can be clarified and corrected if necessary.

Because it takes three rounds until the story continues with Revelation 4:2, the sum of the letters supports it: 3 rounds of 14 letters each = 42.
The genealogy of Jesus in Matthew 1 is, among other things, a reference to the last round. The sequence of generations is divided into three groups. Each of these groups consists of 14 names. And three times 14 makes 42. Three times the 14 letters of Paul serve as building material for the temple of God, the spiritual house, but the third time, see book Nehemiah, mainly the wall and certain buildings are repaired.

The ancestor table of the Messiah in Matthew 1 and its meaning
The genealogy of Jesus describes the first half of the last week of Daniel. Jesus is introduced as a savior and at the same time it is said that he is also a father.

Verse 1:
Book of the Genesis of Jesus Christ, the Son of David, the Son of Abraham.
:זה ספר תולדת המשיח ישוע בן דוד בן אברהם

Meaning:
The Anointed - the Messiah,
is the one who saved - Yeshua,
he's the lover - David,
the father of a lot - Abraham.

Note: The following names, written in blue, do not belong to the ancestors, but are important for th prophetic interpretation.

Abraham to David :
  1. Abraham - father of a multitude;
  2. Isaac - laughing - root: laugh straight out;
  3. Jacob - heel holder root: displace, replace;
  4. Judah - he will be praised;
  5. Phares - Hebrew Peres, a break; root: break out, flee; distance, gap;
  6. Zara - rising light; root: radiate, rise (like the sun); especially: appear ( as symptom for leprosy - symbol for sin recognition.
  7. Thamar - a palm tree (symbol of peace);
  8. Esrom - added, enclosed, the inner courtyard of the spiritual temple;
  9. Aram - high; root: to be highly active; to raise, to rise, to grow; to raise, to raise;
  10. Aminadab - people of generosity, freedom of movement, liberality; root: to push and advance;
  11. Nahasson - Wizard;
  12. Salmon - inauguration, clothing; root: clothing, traditional costume;
  13. Boaz - in him is power; (both in Jesus and in Antichrist);
  14. Rahab - proud, expansive, comprehensive; root: spacious ( syncretism implied); expand, spread, expand (all to be included);
  15. Obed - ministry, servant; root: work, serve, work hard, enslave, subjugate;
  16. Ruth - friend; root: female companion; 1 additional; root: herd graze; rule;
  17. Isai - expand; root: a unity, structure or entity;
  18. David - loving; Beloved; Root: loving, beloved, friend and uncle; is Jesus beloved or only friend or in the end only uncle?

Thus the first fourteen months are described, both the first phase of the last week of Daniel, and of the past centuries, the time from Pentecost in 33 AD to the reformation. That the Reformation is God's work is already reported to us in the Prophet Zephaniah. We emphasize that the Reformation was God's work, we feel compelled to emphasize this fact because there are currents in the Christian world that discredit Luther's work by demanding it: We stop protesting.
Let us neither be intimidated nor dissuaded from the right way. In Matthew 13, the parable is told of a woman who hid leaven in the bread dough and thus leavened the whole dough. Any leaven indicates complete corruption. This is the fourth parable and thus also points to the fourth epistle, to Thyatira.
We continue to preach Christ as the rock on which Jesus builds his church personally and without human paternalism. We therefore reject all Catholic ecumenism. We firmly reject their requests in this direction. Paul says: "Cursed be the one who preaches another gospel. Paul writes this to the Galatians twice. The first time was for the time of the Reformation and the second time for our time, the Last Days. Paul's letter to the Galatians, which according to our discovered inner structure of the Bible also went to the congregation of Thyatira, makes it clear: Rome must practice church discipline and put the whore outside the door, otherwise the judgment, as it is described in Revelation 18, will be carried out on her.

David to Jechonia:
  1. David - loving; beloved; root: loving, beloved, friend and uncle? Is Jesus beloved or only friend or in the end only the beloved uncle?
  2. Solomon - the peaceful one; Jesus of Nazareth or another?; root: safe, good, happy, friendly, welfare, health, prosperity, flowering time; (this also exists under the rule of the Antichrist).
  3. Urias - flame of Yahweh, is the man of the woman;
  4. Roboam - the people have enlarged, expanded, expanded; both camps are expanding, both God's army camp and Antichrist's camp;
  5. Abia - father of Yahweh; (Jesus on one side, the Antichrist on the other);
  6. Asa - doctor or heal; (Jesus your doctor or the Antichrist);
  7. Josaphat - Yahweh judges, reigns (in the heart), argues (the Lord will argue for you);
  8. Joram - exalted by Yahweh (please do not exalt yourself);
  9. Osia - power of the Lord; (God will give victory not by an army of war, but by the power of the Holy Spirit);
  10. Joatham - Yahweh is perfect, perfect; the Lord fills the lack, also of knowledge, loving, kind and complete;
  11. Achas - owner; root: seize, grasp, possess; Jesus or the Antichrist.
  12. Ezekia - strengthened by Yahweh; this applies both to the faithful and to the enemy;
  13. Manasseh - cause or reason of forgetting; (some forget the testimony of the raptured saints, others have finally recognized the truth and forget the Roman system. Now at the latest, the conflict should break out openly;
  14. Amon - knowledgeable, qualified; both sides begin to discuss publicly; the root: building, helping, helping like parents or nurses, proclaiming, standing firm, being safe, trusting, believing or still; true, safe;
  15. Josia - founded by Yahweh; the rebuilding of the spiritual house;
  16. Jechonia - Yahweh will erect, rebuild, repair and much more.

The way to Babylon took place at present of Jechonia. His name is a promise, because he was still a little boy when the Jews were led away to Babylon. Many Christians are brought back into the captivity of Babylon, i.e. they are brought under the government of the Catholic Church.
For this reason, the prophet Micah writes: "Shrew and groan, daughter of Zion, like a woman in childbirth! For now you will go out of the city and dwell in the field and come as far as Babylon. There you will be saved, there the Lord will deliver you from the hand of your enemies.

After the deportation, about 68 weeks later, thousands will leave the Roman Babylon by a second Kores.

From Jechonia to the Messiah:

  1. Jechonia - Yahweh will raise up, build up, repair and much more; the promise will be repeated, because now the time is ripe to build up and repair;
  2. Salathiel - I have asked God; perhaps then someone will still be uncertain whether that is right, Salathiel asked God at that time:
  3. Zorobabel - descendants of Babylon;
  4. Abiud - father (owner) of fame, of prestige;
  5. Eliakim - God of elevation;
  6. Asor - helpful; root: enclose, surround, secure, help;
  7. Zadok - just;
  8. Achim - the Lord will establish;
  9. Eliud - God of Majesty;
  10. Eleaser - God is helper;
  11. Matthan - a gift; root: given;
  12. Jacob-heel holder root: displace, replace; the Antichrist displaces the faithful;
  13. Joseph - let him add; yet many men are saved;
  14. Jesus - Jehoshua: he has saved.

With the last third ends the first half of the last week of Daniel. The great tribulation follows. The last third also indicates that the time of the firstborn ends with his Rapture. It does not end, as many believe, the time of the Christian testimony. In the course of the script we will go into this in more detail.

God's timing
As we have seen, it orients itself according to extended criteria. We know that the great tribulation is also associated with the number 42. God shortens the time and from a period of time which is given as 42 a quite concrete number becomes, namely 42 months. And because God then names the number even more precisely as 1260 days, we can assume that then we are actually dealing with only 1260 days.

Building of the temple or its restoration
In the column "Order", the building materials are listed in exactly the same order as they are listed in Exodus 25. The column "the reverse order of birth" resulted because it was impossible for us to make another assignment. Only the reversal of the sequence of births made sense in every respect and confirmed and all the research results regarding Ephraim and all the others, made by us classifications. Each line forms a special unit. Their respective topics are determined by the materials in the first column. The letters assigned to the same row help us to procure and use the given material. The letters then show us which problems arise during the long construction period.

The Letter to the Hebrews

The letter was written between the years 60 and 65 AD. One reason for its writing, the author says, is that he has made the first (temple) old by saying: "a new one" - that is the temple -; but what becomes old and outdated is close to disappearing. Heb 8:19 The writer of the letter leads the reader out of the tradition handed down and encourages him to hold on to the new, which is better in Jesus. The letter can only have been written before the destruction of the second temple because of this verse, because "close to disappearance" tells us that the second temple is still standing. Paul must be accepted as the author. This is due to the way in which the subject is dealt with. It is addressed to people who live in a turbulent epoch of upheaval and transition. Paul prepares them for this stormy time. The Jerusalem Temple - also called the hut - was still standing, but for a Messianic Jew it was nothing more than a house of prayer. The sacrifices were no longer necessary for him, and the daily cleansing rites had also become obsolete, for Jesus had fulfilled all the requirements of the law of Moses for them.

Also in our days he serves us as a letter of transition. In contrast to then, today's development is in the opposite direction. Judaism today has a modern and attractive effect on many people. The figures in the statistics of holidaymakers and visitors to this country bear witness to this. Israel enjoys much sympathy and arouses more and more great interest. The country is visited not only because of the historical places, also the great sympathy for the fate of this people moves many. Especially among the Evangelicals a cordial appreciation can be recognized. This is not only to be welcomed, but may and must be promoted.

But a creeping danger arises, the return to what is so attractive and attractive to the eye. We are talking here about the cultic framework of the Jewish (and also the Christian) religion. The dangers lie in the fact that the work of Jesus is increasingly receding into the background in the participation in festivals, and in this way a large number of Christians are gradually threatening to turn away from Jesus of the Gospels and reject Paul's Gospel. An even greater danger lies in the fact that Christians are evading the missionary mandate that Jesus gave before his ascension. But the greatest trouble is that people who believe in Jesus as the Messiah are in danger of turning away from the Gospel and at the same time turning to the traditions of the ancients. The Roman Catholic tradition is as much a part of this as are the Jewish writings.
Worldly splendour and pompous habit still impress us human beings.

Religious Jews, especially those from Orthodoxy, want the temple back.  With the construction of such a house, the cult of sacrifice must also be reintroduced. Have they forgotten for what reason God had done this to them? He took the first temple from them because they did not live according to the law. But God also took the second temple from them because it was no longer needed. Both reasons belong together and deal with the same subject: atonement. God only regulates things in relation to sins and the sinner through his son who was welcomed by him as high priest. Nevertheless, they want to reintroduce outdated Aaronite Judaism?  What is such behavior called if not disobedience? At the same time, Christians are threatened with devastating adversity on their return to the Roman Catholic system.

Christianity is already a long way from listening to God's words and following his instructions. And so the bulwark of the Reformation faith is in danger of collapsing and, in fact, it is already wavering. What remains for us to do now? In the twelfth chapter the author of the letter provides us with the only conceivable solution: looking at Jesus. The Greek word indicates the field of tension in which we live. The word aphorao is meant to be said to each individual: Do not be afraid, do not be afraid, look only at Jesus. And even more: We should stare at Jesus, Greek: aphora. Let us turn our gaze, not even a little, neither to the right nor to the left. Let us keep our eyes on the beginner and perfecter of our faith.
So that you too may be captivated by his sight, it is necessary for you to get to know him better, to look at him from all sides. In this way, when we know him, we can easily recognize him from thousands of strangers. Paul paints this and no other Jesus in the most beautiful colors before our eyes.

Letter to the Hebrews - Chapter 1

"Better than", this linguistic expression is used several times in this letter, in the fourth verse of the first chapter it is used as a comparison to the angels. The Son in contrast to the angels and all creation.
God spoke, first in the prophets and at the end of a long epoch, through Jesus. God speaks in the Son, the text says literally. The Father speaks within the Son, and so he cannot and will not speak anything other than words over his lips, so that the one who hears hears. After Jesus ascended to heaven, God sent another important prophet. He sent the messenger Paul, the apostle of the nations, but Jesus is, as it were, the last of the Old Covenant and the first of the New. As the Son of man, he is the imprint of the being of God, and as man it was necessary for him to make sacrifices and in this way to bring about the cleansing of sins. All other sacrifices have been useless since that time. It is further said about the Son that he is higher than the angels. And what is more, Jesus is addressed to God as the eternal God, whom even the angels are to worship. For those who still have doubts and do not pray to the Son and do not worship Him either, let us once again put it to heart: Let all the angels of God worship him. If angels stand far above us human beings in greatness and power, who are we to deny the Son this supreme form of worship?

With regard to the law, the Son is said to be righteous from eternity. And because he was righteous in all actions and thoughts, also as a human being, he is anointed beyond his comrades. The Son is first in relation to his comrades. In this respect, too, he deserves special admiration from his associates. But then a fundamental distinction follows. Jesus, the eternal being, is confronted with his creation. He, the Creator, on the one hand and his creation on the other. Everything created becomes obsolete, but the Son remains unchanged. He is and was and will be the same forever.

In the final verses we are told that the angels will be sent out to minister to those who are to inherit bliss. So much for our brief overview.

But now it's time to get down to business. The first chapter has some oddities, which do not even seem to attract the attention of the scholars. We will go into one or the other curiosity.

The prophetic dimension

At this point we have no choice but to say that the letter is addressed especially to Christians who remained behind after the Rapture, and more about this later. Some readers may put aside the statement they have just made, unread and unchecked, but they may also do so. But if you read my remarks and examine them, then I ask you to bear in mind that reading and examining are two different things. Reading is a process of taking up what has been written and at the same time processing it mentally. The new is compared with the stored and at the same time sorted out. The author of the text hopes that his explanations will be understood during reading and then withstand a subsequent examination.

Testing is more than reading

When we carry out an examination, most of us approach the text with a previous education and a ready-made opinion. New things, in the sense of the unknown, are usually approached with skepticism, so that the text already receives our rejecting basic attitude. With such an attitude, however, we cannot properly examine the text. At best, we ask ourselves: Does the content fit our learned knowledge? When I test in this way, I always find "supposed mistakes", because the knowledge I acquire is based on other assumptions and the conclusions drawn from them. However, when I approach a text unbiasedly and take the trouble to follow the author and examine the aspects mentioned in the Bible carefully, I experience surprising moments like many others have experienced in the past before me. Then I may say for myself: I have really tested, even if I was surprised. But that doesn't mean that I can always agree with the things I found, because the old clings to me like a burdock. Only after minutes, hours, days or weeks, or perhaps even years, do I discover that I really understand what I found to be factually correct at the time. As it has always been the case today, what is new needs time to be understood correctly, and this applies especially to the interpretation of the Bible. The parents of Jesus did not understand the words of their 12-year-old son either, but they did the right thing, they kept what they had heard in their hearts. Even Jacob had not wanted to agree with Joseph's dream, yet he also kept all the words in his heart.

Important secondary condition for testing

I check according to objective criteria, I do not check the author. I should not examine him either, but recognize what a spiritual child he is. Only after the objective examination can the contents be evaluated, which must also be detached from one's own assessment and opinion. The evaluation may only refer to the examination results, whether I like them or not, whether I understand them the same or not. If aspects are pointed out which do not allow any other conclusion at all, after we examined the text exactly under the magnifying glass, then we must leave the result first of all standing and keep it in our hearts.

Yesterday's shortcomings are having an impact today

Therefore my people will be led away for lack of knowledge, and their nobles will starve, and their multitude will be thirsty, says God in Isaiah 5:13. Do we not see the downfall of the Christian testimony? But we all feel that times have changed for the worse. The leading away brings people back to the prison of Babylon, the Roman Catholic system. Already today there are tendencies in this direction, which will intensify after the Rapture. God gives the reason for the more or less voluntary return to the Babylonian prison: "The deportation happens because of the lack of knowledge. The result is that even the nobles starve to death. This group shines with their knowledge, trusting in their wealth. How can one be rich and still starve? Something must have gone wrong. And what went wrong? There have been fundamental relationship disorders that suddenly become apparent.

This is where the Letter to the Hebrews comes in. Jesus wants to say to those who have become rich: "I love you" and further, "now also show your love by seizing me, by acknowledging me as the faithful and true high priest. Always turn to me and do not turn away from me. Do not turn at all to the self-proclaimed high priest of Rome, then the words of judgment will not strike you, but only him".

... exterminated for lack of knowledge?

To exterminate the word means to destroy, to fall and to remain silent. He who keeps silent destroys! This is a reminder to the whole people of God, but especially to the nobles. And who are the nobles? These are the leaders of the people. Not only pastors and experts belong to them, but also those responsible for education and training, above all the Christian publishers. The Hänssler publishing house should be mentioned quite prominently here. The publishing house in question announced that it does not include any books in its programme that are somehow directed against the Roman Catholic Church and its teachings. Dear employees of the publishing house, you have not read: Eaten up, so dropped, for lack of knowledge? One saws off the branch on which one sits oneself.

The Suffering of the High Priest

Now we are looking at God's judgment on the high priest: because you have rejected the knowledge, I reject you so that you no longer serve me as a priest. The Aaronite priests have not been priests for 2000 years, and since the Reformation the priesthood of Rome has been rejected, because their teaching, that is the bread for the people, has been completely leavened. Her bread is poison, but not only hers. The prophet Malachi reveals which bread also disregards the Lord and the Father. Read: The Torah of the Messiah, the Chapter: The Torah of the Passover. God will give all away in what they do, because they reject knowledge. The Hebrews get a second chance, for God is not unjust. He has not forgotten their works, nor the love they have shown for His name. The author of the letter is of good hope, he is even convinced of the better, that they will survive the last round of the post-route of Asia Minor, but not on their own. God sends them wondrous helpers.

Who are the angels in Hebrews 1 and 2?

Chapter 1,2 says of the Son, "God has made him heir to all things. When God says "everything," he also means everything. Let us look at the following verse: By becoming so much better than the angels when he inherited a more excellent name before them. Jesus inherited a name that far exceeds the names of the angels. Now an important question? Where does Scripture tell us that angels inherit? There is not a single scriptural passage in which even the slightest hint would be that angels inherit. At any rate, we have found nothing in the Scriptures that could even begin to suggest it, but the opposite is true.

We have read before:  God has made him - his son - the heir of all things. Jesus inherits everything. But now we know that there are also co-heirs. In his letter to the Romans Paul writes: "The Spirit Himself testifies with our Spirit that we are children of God. But if children, even heirs, are heirs of God and co-heirs of Christ, if we suffer with them, that we may also be co-glorified. Romans 8:16-17
The only person who can inherit is when the testator has died. Who then becomes heir? Sure, every child knows that. "I will inherit everything from my father when he has died," a son can say with complete reassurance. But an angel has no father whom he could inherit, because his father cannot die, the father of angels lives eternally. Our conclusion is that the angels mentioned here cannot be angels in the narrower sense.

Who are the angels who also inherit?

The Greek word for angels is Angelos - αγγελος - and refers first and foremost to a messenger in general. Then the word is used for a good angel in the narrower sense. Satan can also appear as a good angel, but belongs to the fallen angels who are called demons. An Angelos can also be someone who proclaims a message from God, such as a disciple of Jesus or servant of the Lord or a prophet of God. A thing or event can also be seen as a messenger of God, such as the wind, the plague, etc.,
If angels who inherit a name are not angels in the strict sense, then who are these Angelos? Jesus gives us an answer when he says: but who are respected worthy to be a part of that world and of the resurrection from the dead, ... they are like angels and are sons of God, because they are sons of the resurrection. Every Christian who participates in the resurrection and the Rapture is like, like an angel. The essential qualities of an angel: he is righteous, sincere, appears in a white garment, is sent out to minister to those who are to inherit salvation, and is sent out to execute the judgment of God.
Whenever angels are mentioned in the Epistle to the Hebrews, it is also the raptured first-born, such as the believers from the tribe of Dan, who are also called angels.

Why do Ephraim and Dan not belong to the sealed ones from Revelation 7?
Dan is called judge and he is indeed the judge. Ephraim his firstborn is a flame of fire, for it is said:

For a voice tells of Dan - from the north - and
proclaims disaster from the mountains of Ephraim - heaven.

In the prophet Obajah we read similar things, for the house of Jacob will be a fire and the house of Joseph a flame. What will the two houses do? The House of Esau will be a stubble, i.e. it will be a harvested field, so that the other two houses, that of Jacob and Joseph, will light it, let it burn until everything is completely consumed.

Angels to winds and servants to a flame of fire

The most tricky verse of the whole Epistle to the Hebrews seems to us to be the seventh verse from chapter 1. There the angels are made into winds and a flame of fire. Now the Greek word for wind is "pneuma" and can stand for wind, spirit, but also for the Holy Spirit. Now verse 7 can be understood in different ways. What we now do is to take four variants of meaning, which result from the Greek text and examine which variant accurately reflects the meaning of what has been said. First we quote after the translation of the Elberfelder of 1905, and then we add the other theoretically possible meanings that could result from the verse. Hebrews 1:7:

First check run:
  1. "Who turns his angels into winds and his servants into a flame of fire".
  2. "Who turns His messengers into winds and His servants into a flame of fire.
  3. "Who turns his messengers into spirits and his servants into a flame of fire.
  4. "Who turns his angels into spirits and his servants into a flame of fire".
  5. "Who turns his spirits into spirits and his servants into a flame of fire".

Angels are spirits, therefore understandably no spirits are made into spirits. It only allows the only possible conclusion that variant 5 is dropped. Thus the variants 1 to 4 remain.

Second examination
  1. "Who turns his angels into winds and his servants into a flame of fire."
  2. "Who turns his messengers into winds and his servants into a flame of fire.
  3. "Who turns his messengers into spirits and his servants into a flame of fire.
  4. "Who turns his angels into spirits and his servants into a flame of fire".

This variant is similar to variant 5. The angels, who are angels in the narrower sense, do not have to make God into spirits, because they are already spirit beings. In this way the angels also fall away from variant four. The possibilities 1-3 remain.

Third examination
  1. "Who turns his angels into winds and his servants into a flame of fire."
  2. "Who turns his messengers into winds and his servants into a flame of fire.
  3. "Who turns his messengers into spirits and his servants into a flame of fire.

Because a spirit is always spirit and a wind is always wind, we must also remove variant 1, because a spirit is always also wind, only not yet in motion. Stillness does not indicate the absence of wind, but only that it is ready to blow. Revelation 7,1: And after this I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth (literally: not using their power), on which no wind woe on the earth, nor on the sea, nor over any tree.  Here the four angels hold back their winds, i.e. their power.

Fourth examination
2. "Who turns his messengers into winds and his servants into a flame of fire."
3, "Who turns his messengers into spirits and his servants into a flame of fire.

There remain the variants 2 and 3. God has already made us Christians messengers today, but a man on earth is not made wind and spirit. We are not told of this anywhere in the Bible. We work with our carnal body as long as we are here on earth. With that also the variants two and three would be omitted. What then remains? Nothing! Now the question follows: But who then are those whom God makes into winds or spirits, if they are not angels in the narrow sense?

"Who turns his messengers into spirits and his servants into a flame of fire".

We find a story in the Bible that also leaves open whether the messengers were human beings or angels. They are messengers who were on the way for God and had a hard and difficult task. The details are dealt with in the script, the Torah of the Messiah, and can only be mentioned briefly here. The two messengers who come to Lot to Sodom point to the end times and the two men who come to Lot point prophetically to Enoch and Abel. James 1, 14: But Enoch, the seventh of Adam, also prophesied of them, saying, "Behold, the Lord hath come among his saints thousands to execute judgment against them all.

In Revelation 7:1 we read of special angels already mentioned in Hebrews 1:7: And after this I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, lest any wind should blow on the earth, or on the sea, or over any tree.
Hebrews 1,7 speaks of the same persons as Revelation 7,1. While 1,7 points to the end of the seven churches, 7,1 speaks of a new task. The firstborn, Ephraim and Dan, are His messengers and are made spirits in the resurrection. Thus the Epistle to the Hebrews already makes it clear in the first chapter that the Rapture has already taken place. It is hinted at hidden by the author of the Epistle in verse 7.

Hebrews 1,7 is a quotation from Psalm 104,4. And that it is Ephraim, that is to say a servant who becomes a flame of fire, tells us the word flame of fire.

Flame of fire

We find the expression 6 times in the Old Testament and 5 times in the New Testament. Let us take a closer look at the terms. Flame is in the Hebrew text:

Genesis 15:17: Lappid - torch, candlestick, flame;
Exodus 3,2: Labbah, related to the word heart - Hebrew: Lev.
Psalm 29:7: Lehavot, female, plural, related word heart - Hebrew: Lev.
Isaiah 66:15: Lahavei, plural
Daniel 7:9: "Only", Aramaic for fire; root: shine, shine, (Str.-No. H5135); lamp, light (Str.-No.5216);
Joel 2,5: Lahav: lightning, flash of light; related to heart - Hebrew: Lev.
Acts 7,30: Pyr- fire and brand, glow, flame; from phlego: light up, light up etc.
Hebrews 1:7: see point 7;
Revelation 1:44: see point 7;
Revelation 2:18: see item 7;
Revelation 19:12: see item 7;
If the flame of fire is related to the word heart, what could the flame of fire allude to if not to matters of the heart?

Flame in the Old Testament
The word is found 43 times in the Old Testament. Several times it is depicted as a sword. In Psalm 104:4 there is flaming fire. The adjective "flaming" means blowing or licking up. Both blowing and licking is done with the mouth. The blowing points to a strong breeze of the mouth, the power of the word, and the licking from the ground, speaks of an animal doing such. Let us take a closer look at the animal.
And Moses said, Thus saith Yahweh; At midnight I will go out among the Egyptians, and all the firstborn of the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh sitting on his throne to the firstborn of the handmaid that is behind the mill, and all the firstborn of the cattle. And there shall be a great cry in all the land of Egypt, and no such thing shall ever have been, nor any such thing any more.
But against the children of Israel shall not a dog sharpen his tongue, from man to beast: that ye may know that Yahweh makes a difference between Egypt and the children of Israel. Exodus 11:1-7

Who will judge the Egyptians, the dogs?
God will go out at midnight and kill all the firstborn. But Israel will be spared. Why are they spared? They celebrate Passover. This can be seen by the angel who walks through the land that the children of Israel have painted the door frames of their houses with the blood of the Lamb. The angel of death passes them by.
Then in verse 7 it says: "Not a dog will sharpen his tongue against the children of Israel. Who is the dog called Kelev in Hebrew and is represented in German with Caleb? Let us look at what such dogs will not do: And not a dog will sharpen his tongue against Israel. The word "pointy" means: to show oneself sharp-tongued, to emphasize sharp-tongued and to show oneself sharp-tongued.  Then it also literally means: wounded. And third, it can be translated as "awake, alarmed and awakened" and fourth, it means: to decide, to decide, to settle.

Why does God refer to dogs in verse seven?

In verses one to six God announces the last plague, his judgment on all first births. It is still an announcement and not the judgment itself, for it has not yet been carried out: the same has never happened and the same will no longer happen. One thing is already certain, judgment will come. Now to verse 7.
What God says in verse seven must refer to a period that also lies before judgment, which is expressed by the conjunction "but". The speech is not yet finished, but finds its continuation in verse 7.
If we look again at what is said exactly about the dogs, we see why the image of a dog is used and then we sense who the dogs are.

Prophecy speaks of our time. In our days chapter 25 of the book Exodus will take place. Some readers will not want to taste it now:

Elberfelder 1905: "But against the children of Israel there will not be a dog ...
Luther of 1912: "but in all the children of Israel there shall not be a dog ...

It remains to be seen which translation made a better sense. To find out, we must first know what God wants to say to us figuratively with the dog. The Hebrew word for dog, as we mentioned earlier, is Kelev - כלב. On the one hand the term is used for dogs and on the other hand in extension as a euphemistic word for a male prostitute. Note that it is an euphemism. The dog is absolutely a good animal. But his God-given behaviors are now being applied to a group of men engaged in prostitution. Like a dog they run after the female and thus have their intercourse. And because dogs cannot look at themselves by nature during mating, it points to the nature of those men and to the side of their pleasure satisfaction.

With unmarried women they also look for: pleasure without burden. The burden that does not suit him, likewise her. The unmarried woman conceals her life and thus conceals her way of life in order to make the world out there believe that she has preserved her virginity.

Who are these dogs? Now we have to add the word "poitzen" so that we can recognize these dogs, those men we talked about before. The Hebrew word explains it to us. Points means: they are sharp-tongued. They talk hard, loud and aggressive. Their propensity to violence is already audible and perceptible through rhythmic accentuation. They wound in many ways, first through the word then in action. Dangerous dogs first slash their teeth, then they hurt the human being. Dogs that bite do not bark.

Now follows the fascinating thing about the Hebrew language, it also expresses the opposite. For this reason we must not omit the positive aspects. There are also other dogs. Millions of dog owners can testify to this. A good dog is a faithful friend. He is smart and bright and that is especially important, he is playful. But if he hears strangers, even if we humans do not hear anything yet, he abruptly breaks off his activities and is brightly awake. Because the strange noises sound an alarm, he sounds an alarm, audible to all residents of the house: a stranger approaches, he barks. Is it friend or foe? That will soon become apparent. If the unknown comes within sight, we can recognize him. Just like a dog we need a good nose, good ears and above all good eyes. Then it quickly decides who is there and we are soon in the picture.
One of my patients often repeated the following sentence when I came into his house: "A dog does not lie". Every time he wondered how trusting his dog was to me from the very first visit.

Which translation more accurately translated the meaning of Exodus 25. 7?  We think that Martin Luther understood the text better. For a dog can, but should not, mutter, as Luther expressed it.  Against Israel a dog should prove his good nature and with it his loyalty and love to the dog owner. He learns this in a well-off family as a member of the same. By the way: He doesn't have to learn his task as a watchdog, he can do that by nature, we don't have to teach him it first. If we now translate the verse in a meaningful way, it is something like this: But against the children of Israel will not a well-behaved dog sharpen his tongue, from man to cattle; that ye may know that Yahweh makes a difference between Egypt and the Israelites.

Who then is the dog that sharpeneth not his tongue against Israel?

It is the son of Jephunneh, finally the Jews have come to the dog.

   Moishle Hundesohn
Moishle:  No, I'm just afraid that they
might want to muzzle me!

And how did we get on the dog?

Oh yes, Psalm 104:4: who turns his angels into winds, his servants into flaming fire. The servants who kindle the blazing fire are the dogs of Exodus 25. They do not point their mouths at Israel, but ignite in those who are left behind the fire of love which the lukewarm Laodiceans and the Hebrews still lack. Now we clarify the secret of the leak.  Here we let the veterinarian and expert for animal behaviour Dr. Maria Grazia Calore have her say.

What a dog tells us so everything

There are many dog owners who have to return home after a few hours of absence and "fight" with the dog because he wants to lick their face, hands and feet. In this case our dog would like to ask us expressly to give in the food. Something different is the case when our dog is attracted by sweaty hands and feet. He will probably try to interpret our mood with pheromones, which we excrete in sweat. They are not caught by the tongue, but licking serves to decipher these chemical signals through the sense of smell.
When the dog licks the vet, it's not about affection, it's about trying to communicate with him and asking him not to hurt him! These explanations will change the understanding of our dog in many contexts.

How the fire so the dog

Again we go to the second part of verse 4 from Psalm 104: which makes his servants a burning fire. The coal fire is about to be extinguished, when it is kindled in time by the love of the servants, made to glow by their violent blowing. The blowing as a picture for wind and spirit. The words of his servants, even if they are not visible, still speak, the cloud of witnesses speak encouraging words of love and thus ignite love in those who are left behind. And because love and passion are always contagious, the surrounding pieces of wood are also set on fire by the fire. It burns for the Lord of the three friends of Daniel as a counterfire to the death of fire they are to suffer. The three remained faithful. This is another reason why the fire of evil cannot really kill them, because the beloved Lord is in the fire with his three beloved friends.

Psalm 104 leads straight to the parallel text, the Letter to the Hebrews; a personal study is always worthwhile.

Letter to the Hebrews - Chapter 2

The greater the authority, the greater their anger and heavier their judgment.
God applies all diligence to speak to us through witnesses, through signs and wonders, and through the Holy Spirit. At that time, in the days of Lot, there were two messengers who said: "Save yourself for the sake of your life; do not look behind you and do not stand in the whole plain; save yourself to the mountains so that you will not be taken away! Lot should neither stand still nor look behind him, but straight away, so hurry to save himself on the mountains. Lot makes a strange turn, only not to flee into the mountains. He chooses the small one. And so the messengers show themselves to be yielding. Their last words: "Haste, save yourself there - to Zoar -, for I cannot do anything until you have come there". That was the word spoken by angels. Hebrews 2:2

Paul inquires after alluding to the history of Lots: How will we escape if we neglect such a great salvation? Again a comparison is made. Lot's escape points to an escape that a Hebrew must make if he neglects the great salvation, for the apostle's question is: How? How will we escape? Paul wants to save the Hebrews, wants them to be among those who stand with Abraham above, far in the distance, far away from the place of the coming event.  The personal pronoun "we" indicates that only the Hebrews are meant here.

But who are the Hebrews?  The term appears for the first time in Genesis 14:13: And an escaped man came and told it to Abram, the Hebrew. Why is Abram called a Hebrew? The Hebrew word for Hebrew is Ivri (עברי) and is found with the consonants עבר for the first time four chapters before. Genesis 10 lists the ancestral line of Noah's sons. Gen.10:21: And Shem, the father of all sons of Heber, ... sons were also born to him. Shem is called the father of all sons of Heber, although he had not fathered a son of the same name and there was no man named Heber in previous generations. But we find a Heber in the same chapter. He is mentioned in verse 26. Heber is the great-grandson of Shem and a son of Shelah. The great-grandfather obviously adopted Heber, as did Jacob, who had adopted the sons of Joseph, Ephraim and Manasseh.

Remark: The adoption took place after the death of Arpaksad and Schelach, because Sem was about 538 years old when his son Arpaksad died and  573 years old when his grandson Schelach died.

Thus, Sem's sons, such as Elam, Assur, Arpaksad, Lud and Aram, are not Hebrews. The first natural Hebrews are the great-great grandsons Joktan and Peleg. Peleg is not further mentioned in chapter ten, he only reappears in chapter 11. Here in the tenth chapter Joktan and his descendants are told. The name Joktan can be found six times in the scriptures. Here in Genesis 10, in verses 25, 26, 29 and in 1 Chronica 1, in verses 19, 20 and 23.

Who are the Hebrews?

Heber or with the word Hebrews derived from the Greek are now who?
And who is Joktan the second born of Hebrews? Joktan means: He will be made small, so that his name points to the place Lot chose, the city of Zoar. We now look at a table. For a moment forget everything, forget everything you have ever heard about Hebrews and their definition, and listen to the quiet speech of our genius narrator.

First Book of Chronicles: and Joktan begat:

1 Almodad - not measured - Dis legomenon
2nd Scheleph - a pulled out - Dis legomenon
3. Hazarmaweth - Village of Death - Dis legomenon
4th Jerach - New Moon - Dis legomenon
5. Hadoram - noble honor; 1.Chr. 18,10 ; 2.Chr.10,18 (+2x)
6. Usal - I will be flooded - Dis legomenon
7. Dikla - Palm-Hain - Dis legomenon
8. Obal - stripped naked - Hapax legomenon
9. Abimael - my father is God - Dis legomenon
10. Sheba - seven or oath; 20x in Tanakh (AT)
11. Ophir - Land of Gold (Returned to Ash) - 11x in Tankh (AT)
12. Hawila - circle - 7x in Tanakh (AT)
13. Jobab - a desert - 9x in Tanakh (AT)

Joktan the Small Man and his descendants

The thirteen sons live in a special area and we have to have a look at them. The ancestral seat of Joktan is called Sephar, which lay in a mountain range of the east. Sephar means census, so the name of the ancestral seat serves us as a pointer to another ancestral seat, which lies exactly in the opposite direction. Census points to Rome. In this city the rulers repeatedly ordered censuses in order, for example, to determine and collect the taxes for each citizen. Rome needed money, a lot of money, especially for its armies. It's the same today as it was then, without money you can't buy military equipment and pay your soldiers. Thus we have identified the mountains, the place and the people, which are indicated by the word Sephar. It is the Roman-Christian world, the centre of which is still in Rome today.

If we compare the genealogical tables from Genesis 10 and 1 Chronica 1, we notice that the eighth son of Joktan is called Obal in Genesis 10 and carries the name Ebal in 1 Chronica. Why first Obal and then Ebal? Let us first look at the Hebrew spelling:

Obal עובל stripped naked;
Ebal עיבל naked, bald.

Buy truth and don't sell it
What is noticeable about the different spellings is that - ו - (waff). It was replaced by a - י - jud, i.e., in the literal translation then that there has been a change from "stripped naked" to simply "naked or bald". Before someone is undressed, they must have been dressed. And when he has undressed, he stands there naked, completely undressed. The word Obal, stripped naked, is a Hapax Legomenon, a word that occurs only once in the Bible and points to the end times. That Revelation speaks of the Last Days, a period before the Second Coming of the Messiah, may be generally known. In Revelation we find the person who is stripped naked. It says there: and the ten horns which you saw, and the beast, these will hate the harlot, and will make her bleak and naked, and will eat her flesh and burn her with fire. Revelation 17:16.

Can we really assume that this is the Roman Catholic Church? Let us read another passage that prophetically describes this church: Who made such a decision about Tyre - the rock - the crown giver, whose merchants were princes, whose merchants were the noblest of the earth? Isaiah 23:8 Rome is and was the crown giver. Especially in the early Middle Ages she presumed to decide who could become king or emperor. Only those crowned heads who received the blessing from the Roman bishop were rightfully enthroned in Rome's eyes. They never gave up the role of the king-maker. Even today Rome wants to donate a crown. The acting pope offers the American president a unique crown.

And Isaiah 23:9 goes on, because the question of who decided such a thing still has to be answered. Well, the answer is: Yahweh of hosts has decided it, in order to desecrate the pride of every splendour, in order to despise all the nobles of the earth. So the whole thing is arranged by God. Now the next question: What exactly did the Lord of hosts decide? Flood your land like the Nile, daughter of Tarsis! There is no belt any more. First we have to explain the belt. You can find a detailed description of the belt in the book "The Torah of the Messiah". At this point only briefly. A belt, as it is strongly recommended to the Ephesians, is a belt that surrounds the whole trunk of the body, this belt is part of the armor that the Ephesians are supposed to wear. The belt is called the belt of truth. If there is no longer a belt for Rome on the part of God, then it is because there is no truth for Rome, she has discarded the most important weapon herself, taken off the truth and put on the lie. We all know the parallel story, it is in Genesis 3. Adam and Eve undress the truth and attract the lie of the serpent.

Rome lacks the belt and so she is already naked today, for absolute truths have been relativized or rejected by her. And so the woman willfully allows the shells to fall and at the same time flood her land. A land symbolizes both the physical body and the dominion of a person. Both Rome, symbolized as a woman, and her domain, are flooded by herself. The flooding indicates the following. A great crowd, those who carry stolen water, will invade their land and flood it, flooding it with a strange water. Water represents the Word of God. The Messiah himself is the Incarnate Word of God. But their water? With what water do the strangers flood the land? Paul's sea voyage to Rome also plays on the flooding, among other things, only with another means, the wind.

How can gangrene develop?

The man did not eat a balanced diet. Either he ate too much carbohydrates or drank too much alcohol. Carbohydrates are organic compounds of carbon, oxygen and hydrogen. Light energy produces glucose, which is stored in plants in the form of starch. If our man constantly supplies his body with too much of the carbohydrates, the amount of insulin produced is no longer sufficient and his glucose level in the blood rises. A permanently elevated blood sugar level then destroys the tissue. The same effect occurs when alcohol is consumed. If we then know that carbohydrates are actually polyvalent alcohols, then we know what our man feeds on. He enjoys a spiritual potion whose substances intoxicate his mind, numb his sensations and make his eyes see things that only evil can grasp.

The pictorial narratives of our patient culminate in the Book of Judges. The people of God chase after the man who killed 70 men. Israel! seize him, take him away, to the city of Jerusalem.

Judge 1, 4- 7
They cut off the thumbs and fingers of the hands and feet of our priest king. Of course, this can only be really understood allegorically. The Ten Fingers point to the Ten Commandments. The largest finger is the thumb and stands for the first commandment: I am the Lord your God.  But our patient has made himself God. And whoever thinks that he has no God, to whom one or even oneself strikes off one's right thumb. The right thumb stands for the first commandment and is summarized in the words: "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. Exodus 6:5: The right thumb of his hand is for his work against God. The right thumb of his foot represents his lifestyle, his walk. The same applies to the left side, his relationships with his neighbor.
The thumb of the left therefore symbolizes the second commandment: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. But this great man will do what Nietzsche already saw: he kills, kills God, now crucifies Christ for himself a second time. For him Jesus is really dead. Now sick, the patient is sick, not only of his right thumb. He falls ill and swings to his left, and swings forwards, swings backwards. Losing all hold, because no more toes, he has fallen, and lies there forever, like the tree, because his roots rotted off.

Sick of the soul, because it has been fed wrongly, the decay breaks its path and also to the outside. What kind of poison is it that causes the body to decay? Let's have a look, in the doctor's report:

Hymenaeus: straying from the truth

By lying and transmitting his disease-causing germ droplet by droplet.  Aha! But there was another such case. Read again: under which Hymenaeus is and the Philetus. True, Philetus is amiable. But for whom? The word root phileo reveals to us the origin, the place of its infection. To prevent a pandemic, we would have to quarantine Philetus as soon as possible.

The source of the infection

Philetus is kind to his friend, he feels bound to him, both objectively to the outside, and mentally to the inside. And because the personal bond is very deep, he expresses his love through a tenderness which we call kissing and which can be seen by all people.  So far, objectively speaking, the world is in order. His kissing is from the pitfalls - one, before this one, one wanted to call: Beware yourself. Pathogenic germs are quickly transmitted through the mucous membranes of the mouth. Philetus neither saw nor felt them.

Hymenaeus deliberately infected Philetus. Only centuries later does it become visible. The seed of the lie now spreads rapidly all over the world. Therefore, it is now necessary to take a closer look at the strains of the germ, to examine it closely. What do I say, magnifying glass? We need a microscope. Wasn't there at the time of the apostles. Only today can we examine the smallest details with our eyes, um, lenses. The helper hands us the good piece and so we focus together on the word Anastasis - ΑΝΑΣΤΑΣΙΣ. The word appears 42 times in the New Testament.

The meaning of the word Anastasis:

a new rising
(literally) a resurrection from the dead
(individually, personally) a restoration; or moral restoration of a spiritual truth;

Root level 1
get up again, rise;

Root level 2
on;
single, special; to admit, to admit etc. ;
(if as prefix) it often means: repetition, violent, insistent; reversal, turn, change, cancellation and much more.

Now the truth is usually very close to the lie, or should we better say, the lie is close to the truth? One thing is certain, the patterns of both are the same, only the taste of one is refreshing and the taste of the other deadly. We look at the patterns. These are the words:

Anastasis - resurrection,
anistemi, - first word root: get up,
then the lower roots:
ana - up,
histemi - stand.

We started our research on the lower roots and so our investigations have shown that Hymenaeus and Philetus repeated again and again, insistently, that we need a turn. They demanded a change. They did and do this with fierce and strong words, calling people to repentance. But the two have gone astray. One of our colleagues whispered to us: "Zero compliance?

Where should people turn, what do Hymenaeus and Philetus demand?
The law that was made palatable to people with the slogan, Marriage for All, expresses their propagated moral and spiritual change. Just like a coup d'état, the German Bundestag hastily passed the "Law Introducing the Right to Marry for Persons of the Same Sex" on June 30, 2017 just before the summer break. The leaders of the people call it renewal. From historical research it can be proven that the germ of their turn, the law: marriage for all, is a deadly germ from Babylon. Death always comes from Babylon. But what does the law, marriage for all, have to do with our patient from Habakuk 2,4?

It is the wounded souls who are not ready to apply to themselves the Word of God, allegorically represented by the oil of myrrh. The myrrh of God, even if it tastes bitter, has always had a healing effect on the soul. In many houses, the Bible is left unused in the bookcase as a remedy and antidote. We remind not only Philetus and Hymenaeus, but also every reader, so that he can experience healing through Jesus Christ. In this way, the priests of Rome would also be healed if they relied alone and only alone on the writings of Tanakh and the New Testament. All human traditions must be overboard because they are ballast. We are told this prophetically in the story of Paul when he was on his way to Rome by ship. Acts 27

One more question to Hymenaeus and Philetus: Have you not read and studied the Epistle to the Galatians? Tell me, you who want to be under the law, i.e. under human regulations, do you not hear the law? Paul addresses the two covenants, one with Hagar and the other with Sarah, and explains that they have a figurative meaning, that is, they are an allegorical representation. When Jesus says, "This is my flesh," he tells us, "This is my flesh," and thus makes clear his allegorical narrative. The same is true when Jesus says: He who drinks my blood has eternal life. This, too, cannot be understood literally, but has, how could it be otherwise, an allegorical meaning. This already becomes clear from the fact that a person carries only about 5 liters of blood. Who wanted to drink it after 2000 years? Already the thought is completely absurd. Transsubstantiation is also an aberration, because Jesus, says the Epistle to the Hebrews, once, the emphasis is all at once, went to the cross and shed all his blood there for us. These approx. 5 liters are completely sufficient. With that all my sins are completely erased and atoned for forever. There is nothing left for me to do. The same applies to everyone who begins a personal relationship with Jesus. For this there is no need of a church, but only faithful witnesses of Jesus. "Pope Francis, hear what the Spirit says to the congregations!" "You Roman priests, hear what the Spirit says to the parishes."

All human traditions, as already said, must be thrown overboard. Be it the decisions of the Catholic Councils, be it textbooks or commentaries. All aids must be disposed of before the great storm breaks. If you don't clean up in time and throw out your stuff, you'll have to endure the thunderstorm.

Stolen water is sweet

For a long time we have thought about what the stolen water is, but even longer why it should be sweet? And because God always speaks through the things of creation, we set out to find the sweet water. But where do we begin to search? Do we find sweet water in nature? The seas contain salt water, our lakes and rivers carry fresh water. Is their water the sought-after sweetness spoken of in Proverbs 9:17? No, our drinking water is only called fresh water, but it is not really sweet. We must keep searching. Many a text from the Bible then gave us the right hint. There were such passages in the text that especially talk about things that have to do with our health. Without medical training, sweetness cannot be found and then explained.

The Great Death of Fish in Laodicea

Such bread, which fish would never really eat, they then become entangled in, because they cannot see the poison, smell it or taste it. But when they eat it, their eyes, no, they are not opened, they first become cloudy and then blind. Over time the fish lose their beauty, that is the splendour of their colours, they darken from dull to colourless. Towards the end, when no salvation approaches, they all die. Through strangers who hire themselves out as water bearers, the King Maker deliberately floods her land. And what does the bread speak of, if not of Jesus? They have also changed the bread, which is called Jesus, in such a way that one can hardly come to their aid if one does not know how to use the Bible properly.

Our tip to the readers: Train daily the handling of the sword of the word, so that you do not succumb to the enemy.

They proclaim another Jesus who can only do lying miracles. Only those who buy eye ointment from the Lord's medicine chest can see the difference.

From Obal to Ebal

Obal is the eighth son of Joktan and as we have noted, the word Obal is a Hapax Legomenon, that is a word that occurs only once in the Bible and, as we have also noted, a Hapax Legomenon points to the end times. We find the word Ebal more often. It means naked or bare - like a rock - and appears eight times in the Bible. Let us take a closer look at the places where the naked rock is mentioned.

Ebal's first occurrence
Genesis 36:23: And these are the sons of Shobal: Alwan and Manachath and Ebal, Schepho and Onam.

The Horite Ebal

Ebal belongs to the Horites. The Hebrew word Hori - חורי (Chori')-, literally translated, means cave dweller. Who are these cave dwellers? The Messiah explains it quite simply: The foxes have caves, and the birds of the sky have nests, but the son of man does not have where he puts his head. Matthew 8:20. In this scriptural passage we do not yet find an explanation, but two beasts are mentioned which become important for us, they are the foxes and the birds. The foxes stand for men and the birds for spirits. What kind of spirits are meant here is only made clear to us by the fox. In Luke Jesus talks about the first and the last and then it says: In the same hour some Pharisees came and said to him, "Go out and go away, for Herod wants to kill you. And he -Jesus- said to them: Go and say to this fox, Behold, I cast out demons and make healings today and tomorrow, and on the third day I shall be made perfect. But I must walk today and tomorrow and the next day; for it is not acceptable for a prophet to perish outside Jerusalem.

Cave dwellers in the Bible

Herod is called a fox by the Messiah. If this king, who by the way was an Idumaean, is a fox, that is to say, is compared with an animal that gives itself completely innocently and suddenly jumps after its prey, it becomes clear that the birds from Matthew 8,20 are the spiritual powers behind this deceitful king. This is also clear from the message that Jesus sends to Herod: "Tell this fox, 'Behold, I cast out demons ... Herod is a deceitful man, he is a liar and a murderer. Jesus wants to tell him, "I will cast you out as I cast out demons. In the prophet Obadiah the devastating judgment on the Edomites is told in a few verses.

Herod, the king of Edom, is considered a fox of the cave dwellers. But there are other animals that live underground. Again the Messiah explains it to us and again quite simply: "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you build the graves of the prophets and adorn the tombs of the righteous and say: "If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been their partners in the blood of the prophets. Therefore, you bear witness to yourselves that you are the sons of those who murdered the prophets; and you, full to the measure of your fathers! Snakes! Viper's brood! How can you escape the judgment of hell? Therefore, behold, I send unto you prophets and wise men and scribes; and some of them ye shall kill and crucify, and some of them ye shall scourge in your synagogues, and some of them ye shall persecute from city to city; that upon you may come all the righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of Abel the righteous, to the blood of Zacharias the son of Barachias, whom ye murdered between the temple and the altar.

Snakes

This would give us the second group of animals living in caves, snakes of the otter type. They also sneak up on the prey and kill it. These cave dwellers are also liars and murderers.

Scorpions

Even if there is not much of the group of scorpions to be found in the fonts, the information provided is still sufficient. If we examine them thoroughly, they explain important details to us. And again it is the Messiah who teaches us and again quite simply. Jesus spoke to them: I saw Satan fall from heaven like a bolt of lightning. Behold, I give you the power to tread upon snakes and scorpions, and upon all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall harm you in any way. Luke 10:19

In this verse Satan is mentioned as well as snakes and scorpions. Both animal species are assigned to the devil. Satan himself has always been known as a serpent and the Pharisees and scribes mentioned above are his sons. Both belong to snakes that live in caves. But who are the scorpions? In the prophet Ezekiel, in chapter 2, verse 6, it says: "And you, Son of Man, do not fear them and do not fear their words; for nettles and thorns are with you, and you dwell with scorpions. Do not be afraid of their words, and be not afraid of their face: for they are a rebellious house.

Who is meant by the rebellious house? Verse 3 gives us a clear answer: Son of man, I am sending you to the children of Israel, to the revolting nations that have revolted against me; they and their fathers have fallen away from me to this day. The house to which Ezekiel is sent refers to the rebellious nations. And to be even more precise, the text explains to us, also to our surprise: I am sending you to Israel, to the revolting nations. The rebellious peoples are here identified with Israel. They, Israel, are the scorpions. We find another mention of this species in Revelation. They do not seem to be scorpions, but they resemble them and come up from a very large and very deep cave, the abyss. The Abyssos, as the abyss is called in Greek, is immeasurably deep and great. From there an uncountable multitude of tormentors come up to damage humans for five months (i.e., these scorpion-like animals are unfair in character, consequently, they do evil).

Israel, the revolting nations, has forsaken the good word of God and, as a result of disobedience, experiences the most terrible judgment ever on earth. They who have done evil even as scorpions are damaged for five months by other scorpions who are greater and more evil than they are. Already the court on the plain of Sodom and Gomorrah, announced by the two messengers, was quite violent. But the judgment that the Son of Man announced 2000 years ago about godless Israel exceeds all our expectations.

Ebal in the pit

Among these cave dwellers belongs the Naked and Bald, Ebal even, the eighth son of the Hebrew. In Revelation 17:11 it sounds like this: And the beast, which was and is not, is also an eighth, and is of the seven, and goes to destruction. This eighth claims to be the rock of which Jesus said, "On this rock I will build my church. With this Ebal robs the Messiah and with him the Christian foundation of faith. And with Jesus he robs us and steals the rock, our rock, from the Jews and Christians. And with the rock he robs us of the cornerstone called Jesus Christ. The corner stone is the most important stone in the third temple, because the building of the congregation is aligned with the corner stone, the first stone. Ebal makes himself the cornerstone. Everything must be aligned with him.

An intermediate question: When was the corner stone laid? Because only when this stone was laid can we talk about the laying of the foundation stone of the congregation. Let us listen to what Jesus says, he quotes Psalm 118:22: "The stone that the builders rejected has become the corner stone".  So when was the cornerstone laid? After the builders had discarded the stone called Jesus. After the Pharisees and scribes rejected it, Jesus became the cornerstone. With the rejection of the builders we do not yet receive the exact time of the laying of the foundation stone, not yet completely. Their rejection only means that they reject it as a building block.

Just one banal question: What is a stone? It is a compact object made of minerals and other components occurring in nature. In contrast to a rock, a stone has no firm contact with its former rock unit. Unlike plants, animals and humans, rocks belong to inanimate nature.
This knowledge about stones brings us a great deal closer to the day of the laying of the foundation stone of God's temple. When the builders, Pharisees and scribes rejected Jesus, they were about to separate Jesus from their rock. And because they then brought him to the cross, the stone was finally cut off. This dead stone now comes to life. Jesus was raised on the third day. So the stone that had been discarded and believed to be dead, which the builders tried to dispose of on a heap of broken fragments, became the cornerstone of a new and glorious house. The foundation stone was laid three days after the Passover. This brings us to another deep insight. After three rounds on the postal way of the seven churches, the temple of God will be completed. Jesus expresses it this way: I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. In the history of salvation, the completion takes place on the third day. On the first day the foundation stone and the further foundation were laid and afterwards, during three periods of the second day, the building of the house was continued. On the last day the house is completed. This is the third day.

The apostle Peter adds as if he wanted to speak into the conscience of the self-appointed successor of Peter: and a stone of offence and a rock of annoyance. The Greek word proskomma for offence means: an opportunity to apostasy. It sounds almost as if Ebal had just waited for the opportunity to come. Yes, he was just waiting for it. But what kind of opportunity is this? The second meaning of the word proskomma gives us details, it's something like that: Ebal pushed his big toe and hurt him so badly that the toe has to be amputated. And how did this happen? Ebal was very angry. In his anger he kicked the stone called Christ. This is shown by his way of life, which is represented by his feet. This becomes visible through his actions: He either violates the first commandment of Exodus 20 or the sixth commandment. We must assume that he is violating both commandments. On the one hand he curses the Messiah Jesus and on the other he crucifies him again, i.e., he says, like the people back then: "Away with him, I do not want him to rule over me. Crucify him, crucify him! And by crucifying Jesus again for himself, he then also kills his disciples.

The master builder, that is Paul, is asked to go to work and that is what he did. As a wise master builder, he laid the foundations of the third temple, which are aligned with the cornerstone of Jesus. It was not Peter, but the apostle of the nations. It is not Peter who reveals the mystery of the church, but Paul. But Ebal also denies this and continues to say: "I am the rock! I decide how to build! Ebal has set Christ aside and sits in the place of the Messiah. Paul confronts him: no one can lay another foundation - the basic structure given by the cornerstone of Jesus - except that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Whoever acknowledges his error and admits it, there is hope for him. But Ebal says, "I will stand by it: I, the Pope, am the rock. Ebal does not even notice that he is naked and bald. On his rocks there is not the temple of God, at most a house of idols. By claiming to be the rock, Ebal makes Jesus a liar. We all know the proverb: Who lies, who steals! or not? We extend the proverb: Who robs, who murders... If we look at the other sons, the meaning of their names, it describes the history of Jews and Christians. They are parallel worlds that seek their equals.

Jesus not only conquered death by dying, but also took away its horror. His triumph is sealed by the resurrection. To this day Jesus wants to save people and not judge them. But whoever despises his friendly courtesy will also be despised by the Son of God. If his wrath breaks out, woe betide the earth.

Letter to the Hebrews: Chapter 3

The son about his (own) house - this is us
Let the called comrades contemplate Jesus. By this Paul means, look at the apostle and high priest from above, then downwards and finally all around. They should take a close look at him from head to toe and especially get to know Jesus as high priest. The readers are asked to compare him with the Aaronite high priest. In addition a small table, which is not comprehensive, but provides a small insight where the differences lie and which conclusions result from it.

Since the third chapter deals with the house of God, that is the tabernacle, we will deal with the position of Moses, Aaron and Jesus. Moses, as well as Aaron, were appointed to the priesthood in the house of God. They were servants in the hut, the tent of coming together, which had a temporary function. Both Aaron and Moses were also temporary servants in the house, and it did not belong to them, but to God. The servant of such a glorious edifice is accorded due respect and greater honor than the others of the people. But Jesus is the son of the house. That is to say, the present house, also a transportable sanctuary, belongs to the Son. And because he is the owner, he deserves an even greater honor. Now it could be that one or the other might lack the due homage to the son of the house and so Paul puts the two next to each other and asks the reader: "Look! Moses is a servant. Look at Jesus, he is the son. Who deserves the greater honor? The servant or the son? Moses himself already points to the greater one who would one day come. The ministry of Moses clearly points to the one anointed by God, the faithful high priest.

Only when those addressed, the comrades, also known as Hebrews, really take a close look at the apostle and high priest Jesus, will each of them learn to recognize and understand Jesus personally. What infinitely greater work has the Messiah done and still does today. If we compare Jesus' ministry with the ministry of Moses and Aaron, then we must inevitably come to the conclusion: Jesus' work is far better. And so Jesus has attained the greater beauty and glory over Moses and that is why we show him greater reverence. Moses was a servant in the house of God. But Jesus is more glorious because he is the builder and owner of the new house - this is the third temple and the temple we are, says verse 4.

Where does a man usually rest? Of course, in his own house! When the Son has finished it, he will rest from this work because the house can be finished and the bride can move in. This is the most beautiful rest indicated here in the text. And another Sabbath rest is saved for the people of God, because hidden we read of two. Is the second rest the second Sabbath of which Luke 6:1 speaks? Just look into the script, "The Torah of the Messiah". It might be interesting for the interested person that the fifth chapter of the Gospel according to Luke ends with the sentence: And no one, when he has drunk old (wine), wants to drink new wine immediately, because he says: The old one is better. The old wine stands symbolically for the good old covenant of Sinai, the new wine for the new and better covenant.
And so the Letter to the Hebrews answers those who think that the old wine is better: "Look! Whoever has tasted the new wine does not want anybody else. Would you also like a tasting?
